This was an extension that involved fresh plastered ceilings and walls to be mist-coated and given 2 coats of emulsion. The new woodwork was filled, primed, undercoated and glossed.

Old paint and tarnish were cleaned up with white spirit and a sanding sponge

This skirting board was subsequently removed due to being damp and rotten
After the rotten skirting board was removed, a new length of skiting was inserted and secured in place with rawl plugs and screws
The new length of skirting boards were filled with 2 part wood filler, and primed with Zinser Bin which also seals the knots due to it's shellac properties.
Once the skirting board was filled, caulked, sealed and primed- the skirting board was undercoated and given a top-coat of Satinwood.
This is about to made good.
Some of the plaster was week and had been removed
The reveal was then patched up with bonding plaster
After the bonding plaster dried, it was sanded, then filled with a strong, durable filler proir to sanding it down and finishing in Dulux Vinyl matt. The colour is Jasmine White
Once the window reveal was complete, the window and window sill was cleaned, sanded down, filled, primed and undercoated, before being given a top coat in Dulux Diamond Satinwood. The colour is Jasmine White. The picture rails were given the same finish in Bathstone Beige.
