  Great firm to work with

Dean stepped in when another contractor let us down in the spring of 2026. With the weather and other commitments we liaised throughout the summer and I made an informed decision, with dean's input, to leave the work until October, aware of the potential impact of rain on an external paint job. Dean, and Dean tipped up and blitzed the work. They were thorough, professional, tidy, helpful and good guys to have around for a couple of days. Very satisfied with the work done, the way it was done, the price, quality and timeliness of delivery. I would unreservedly recommend and use them again.

  Brilliant Decorators - Highly recommend!

Extremely happy with the work from Djs Bitzandbobs. Dean and Craig were very professional. They went above and beyond despite a few challenges to make sure we were happy with the finished result. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and Dean was always happy to do any touch-ups for us. His attention to detail and communication was excellent, and he was very neat and tidy. He came back after our furniture was in place to complete the final touch-ups, which really showed his commitment to doing the job properly. Dean is a genuinely nice guy, and would highly recommend him to all.

  Great job decorating master bedroom

Contacted Dean for decorating our master bedroom in Halstead, a wallpaper feature wall and painting ceiling and walls. He quickly responded with a competitive quote. Unfortunately there was a delay in us getting the wallpaper, he was very understanding and we agreed a later date. He arrived on time and quickly got organised with dust sheets and covering fitted furniture. He worked very hard (despite it being the hottest day) and the overall finish of painting and wallpaper is excellent. Dean was very easy to deal with, good communication and a nice guy. We are already booking our next job!

  Landing and stairwell refresh

He repaired joints in the landing ceiling and prepared and repainted the stairwell walls and landing ceiling. He kept us informed of his visits, arrived on time, did an excellent job avoiding paint splatter elsewhere and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. He even caulked gaps around door architraves.

  Top Painter & Decorator

We couldn’t be happier with the work carried out by Dean. From start to finish, he went above and beyond what we expected. His attention to detail was meticulous - every surface was prepared and the overall result is flawless. He was always punctual, reliable, and worked in a very clean and tidy manner and left the room cleaner than before he started! It was clear Dean really takes pride in his work, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We both found Dean to be a genuinely lovely person — professional, friendly, and easy to have around the home. Thoroughly recommend him.
