    Avoid this company at all costs!

    We had a terrible experience from start to finish. They arrived late and understaffed. Because of their lack of preparation and professionalism, they couldn’t complete the move properly. Moved 1 day late, so charged us double, leaving us to also cover additional costs from our buyer. Several items were damaged & didn’t bring enough packing materials. We’ve since obtained a default judgment against them, but they’ve ignored all communication & have made no effort to pay what they owe. Overall, an extremely stressful and costly experience. I strongly recommend staying well clear of this company.

    Items Delivered back from Storage

    In reply to the Review on 23rd Jan, the client was advised that due to being in the tail end of 'Storm Bert' in November 2024, we should postpone the delivery of items to the following day is there was torrential rain and strong winds. Our advice was declined.

    House move in Bishop’s Stortford

    Mark and his team were first class. From the moment Mark confirmed that we didn’t need to book a particular date for completion, he would move us whenever we completed, his service took the stress out of the move. On the day the DMR team were so nice, exactly the kind of people you want around you on a stressful day. Really friendly and hardworking guys, nothing too much trouble. Special shout out to the team member who took all the wardrobes and beds apart and put them back together in the blink of an eye. I would not hesitate to use DMR again.

    Terrible service

    Paid over £10,000 for a removals and storage service by DMR & Sons. Only to have items thrown into the back of a van, returned dirty, broken and some items lost altogether. We’ve had to replace items up to £1200 in value because of poor handling and storage. We were also told to pay for the return of our items up front otherwise items wouldn’t be delivered. Now I know why. Contacted them multiple times to ask they put it right for us. No reply, just taken the money and ran. Worst removals company I’ve ever used.

    Response from Owner: Unfortunately some items were water damaged due to the fact we were (against advice and option to reschedule) operating in the tail end of Storm Bert in November 2024. We tried to resolve via email on 20th Feb 2025 with no reply.
