  Tom and Lewis did a good job in an efficient manor and when completed tidied up the site and removed the old garage door.

  Absolutely unacceptable customer s The product is under warranty for 1 year. Doesn’t matter if fault arises after 9 months gap. The fault can arise in the 12th month as well. The fault arises due to poor workmanship at the time of installation. Few months after installation, the garage door didnt close and got stuck. Doormatic didnt offer any immidiate help and asked me to get it sorted by myself. When I got from an approved vendor, then doormatic blamed that approved vendor created damage which is completely false. Basically doormatic seemed to 'deceit customer ' philosphy

• Replacing a Garage door and frame.

  The company came out and made door safe and locked. They then did a rapid order and installation. This meant that we were without the garage for a minimal amount of time. The Fitting team were very good and fitted the door and showed us how the extra locking system worked before leaving. They fitted the door and steel frame in the time that they said they would.

  The door was replaced quickly by an experienced worker who tidied up afterwards. My only quibble is the lack of communication about the progress of the order as an additional 2 weeks had passed by. Mobile is only for texts.

  We had our garage door serviced. Full payment up front was required which should have been a red flag. It cost us +£100 for 10 mins work. Next day I saw the unit cover was missing. My wife noted the engineer had not mentioned this. Upon contacting them, they said the engineer had told my wife that the cover was cracked (it was not) and that due to the unit’s age, they could not replace it. Despite my wife calling them to explain no such conversation had occurred, she was told that whilst they ‘sympathised’, no partial refund would be given and that the engineer had been reprimanded. Avoid.
