Have used DownMac Electrical twice in the past 2 months for an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) and subsequent work to upgrade the house I bought recently. This included a Consumer Unit replacement, socket replacements and the installation of hard-wired smoke & carbon monoxide alarms. I was very impressed by the neat work they did and that they completed the work on time as promised. I would definitely use the company again.

Very competitive and reliable company. Came out in a timely manner and gave us a very competitive quote. We are booked in for the work to be completed and the arrived on time and carried out multiple jobs. Very friendly, professional and left our property clean and tidy. Rewiring

Paul went above and beyond to help with testing and rewriting some sockets in our house. When we had an issue with the sockets after decorating the room, he gave us advice over the phone in evening and came out first thing the following morning. He even moved our fridge back for me as it’s too heavy for me to move. Cannot recommend these guys enough!

Flat rewire

Paul & his team were brilliant through out. Paul called on his way home when our electrics went off fixed the problem & the charge was minimal. He explained what had happened & advised us but we made the decision to have a rewire. His team went the extra mile to minimise the amount of disruption. Everyone warned us to expect a mess but the flat was spotless when they finished. I would recommend them for any electrical problem. An excellent job!
