Requested 3 quotes from contractors for this work. Richard’s estimate was lower than the others and he was the only one to do a site visit before quoting, which gave us peace of mind that the quote would be accurate. He was a pleasure to work with, highly professional and did an excellent job fitting the new lights despite our Victorian ceilings! We are so pleased to have found a reliable electrician and already have Richard lined up for further work. On Monday December 30th we experienced a major power outage in our premises which caused a shutdown of all our major electrical appliances and several electric sockets. I contacted Down to Earth Electrical who arrived on the scene within an hour of my telephone call and who, after locating the cause of the outage, were able to fix the situation within another hour. Their work was excellent and was combined with a friendly and extremely knowledgeable attitude regarding what was needed to be done. My name is Richard and I have been an electrician for over 24 years and have carried out electrical work ranging from minor repairs and fault finding works, to both small and large installation works to domestic and commercial properties. I have been a registered NICEIC approved contractor since 2007 and am very proud to say that I have had no complaints throughout that time. If my customers are dissatisfied in any way, than I will always resolve the matter as quickly and as efficiently as possible, with the end result satisfactory to you the customer.
We carry out a whole range of electrical works to both domestic and commercial properties including, Replacing accessories - Installing additional sockets or lighting points - Electrical testing and condition reports to both domestic and commercial - Fault finding and minor repairs - Replacement consumer units - Additional circuits - Kitchen and bathroom installations - Full and part rewires - Garage and shed installations - Garden and external lighting - Full installations of EV car charging units - HMO property installations - Landlord and estate agent electrical services and more.
I understand how difficult it is to get by in this day of age so I will do my very best to keep costs to a minimum and will not force work that need not be carried out. I price per the job and no hourly rate is applicable with all quotations free of charge! I am happy to come out to you in the evenings and weekends if having time off work is an issue and will not charge any extra for doing so.
