I am a highly skilled and experienced carpenter & cabinet maker. I am enthusiastic, creative and hard working with a lively interest in developing my existing skills and learning new ones, and a full set of hand and 110v power tools. I am bilingual and speak English and Spanish.

Work Experience:

1st & 2nd Fix Joiner Various sites (July 2011 – Present)

Since 2011 I have worked on a variety of short-term placements across the London area. These have included a large office development in Bishopsgate various shopfitting jobs including Harrods, refurbishment of an All-Bar-One in the West End and remodeling of a high specification home in Knightsbridge to name a few. I have repaired damaged sash windows and fitted new ones as required, fitted bespoke kitchens and bathroom units, glass wall panels and repaired and fitted staircases. I have also fitted floor and ceiling joists and partition walls including fitting insulation as well as a variety of other tasks.

Cabinetmaker / Joiner / General Carpenter. Self-Employed.

(1997 to April 2011)

I worked as self-employed furniture maker and woodcarver designing and building original pieces including fine decorative work such as mirror and picture frames and free-standing ornamental pieces. I have built and fitted bespoke kitchens and undertaken all aspects of general carpentry including doors, window shutters, windows and staircases. In addition, I have worked for the Cuban government restoring and refurbishing antique furniture for museums.
