Within hours of reporting a blocked drain to a polite/understanding call handler, Alan from Bournemouth arrived at the promised time, checked the problem and gave detailed information of the clearance process, with prices. Alan is the helpful engineer anyone would hope to meet when in a stressed situation. Alan checked with the owner before commencing each stage of the clearance process and cleared the blockage. Having checked the complete system was flowing well, Alan cleared away and departed leaving no trace of his visit. A true professional whom I would not hesitate to call again.

We discovered the blockage less than 24 hours before AirBnB guests were due! I'm pretty handy but it was not possible to identify exactly where the issue was and rods would not fit in from the inspection hatches... Time to call for help. Alan was prepared to come out that evening, but we could wait till the morning so we were on a tight schedule! Really refreshing to have a conscientious trades person, who actively assists in solving problems rather than doing the bare minimum. Very helpful, tried a variety of clearance methods. Took genuine interest in finding a solution and assisted with speaking to Wessex Water when I needed to gather information from them. Highly recommend.
