I would not recommend Drew Smith Carpentry based on my experience. The project was agreed at a fixed price and expected timescale but became significantly delayed and was affected by numerous workmanship issues. These included roof leaks on two separate occasions, resulting in water ingress and flooding to ground floor rooms, soaked timber materials, and damage requiring remedial work. Other issues included defective fitting work, damage caused during construction, and a growing list of outstanding defects. We used Drew Smith Carpentry for our new office/media wall and built-in bedroom wardrobe. Drew was always punctual throughout the works and always kept his working areas clean and tidy at the end of every day. He was always consistent with his approach and communicated with us regularly throughout the job to ensure we were happy with every aspect and gave across his knowledge to help make our plans even better. We were extremely happy with the end result and the quality of work. We will definitely be using Drew again in any future works.

Arrived on date booked, happy to discuss changes to original plan & accommodated all requested changes. Constantly checked I was happy with work & cleaned up every night. Work completed in a week.

Drew was excellent, good quality work, stuck to agreed timescales and no increase in the initial quote.

We used Drew Smith Carpentry for our lounge / staircase area. The area was updated to give a more modern and open space. Also bespoke cupboards, a new fire mantel and new internal doors. It all looks wonderful and we are very pleased with the result. Drew co-ordinated everything in a timely manner and kept us updated throughout. He also brought new ideas and suggestions which enhanced the project.

This is the second time that I have had work completed by Drew and was as delighted this time as the first time. He was reliable, punctual and gave us a reasonable quote for the work to be undertaken. Communication was excellent from start to finish. His experience and skill meant that he was able to suggest an even better solution than we had envisaged! He was organised neat and tidy and cleared up all his mess before leaving. In addition to this he is a great person, I can’t recommend him highly enough. I will certainly use Drew in the future.
