We contracted Danny to replace our ground floor ceiling (to allow for spotlights) and re-tile our ground floor. It didn't go to plan. The pace and quality of work was unsatisfactory, in 2 days of work he only managed to do the ceiling frame which was visibly wonky (with over 2cm gaps between one side and the other - which we had to call another builder to fix), broke a vase and left most for us to clean at the end of the day. We fired him on day 3, but on the plus he was honest and recognised the weaknesses.

I asked for brick pattern for the tiles which he had not done as instructed. He reason for this was he thought it would look better his way. The tiles fitted where not flat on the wall; the edges of the tiles didn’t meet up. Nearly every joint was bad. The shower tray was silicone to the wall not under the first tile with a gap of approx 12mm of silicone, the silicone joint was so poorly done there was debris in the joint. Dan agreed to correct the poor work at his expensive. 3 days before work was going to start he was unable to do so. Extremely poor quality works no attention.

Didn’t show up on the agreed date even though he confirmed the day before. No courtesy call. I took the day off work and it was a complete waste of time

Got Danny back to tile my bathroom after his lovely work in my kitchen last year. Again very high standard, very impressed. Would recommend.

Danny is a very clean and professional tradesman. Couldn’t have asked for a better job than this! Amazing. Highly recommend.
