  Dumfries Roofing Elite did a splendid job for me in Carlisle on a 130 year old mid-terraced house. I asked for the works to be carried out w/c 13th May 2024 and gave them 2 months notice. I was very pleased when DRE turned up exactly on the date we wanted. They worked very hard on the roof and could not have been more professional, hard working and courteous. I would highly recommend this company.

  All workmen polite , they did a good job on the roof, they tidied up the best they could in our garden. But my neighbours were very upset as workman who had access to their garden said he would come back to tidy up but he didn’t, and so were upset at the mess they had left also that workmen had placed a heavy ladder against their back door ON the GLASS half of the door! Had they opened it from inside there would have been an accident. Also problem with metal roof on their metal shed and a garden pots moved and just left there. So they were very unhappy with us !

• Roof work, re-roof

  Dumfries Roofing Elite carried out re-roofing work to my son’s 120 year old brick terrace house in Carlisle. After stripping the first half of the roof, DRE discovered some rotten roof joists which they were able to replace and strengthen. We were very pleased with the whole job. Excellent guys who communicated at all stages. Would highly recommend.

• Remove and replace two flat roofs

  Quotation accepted, no deposit, pay on completion. Very messy workers, left and didn't clean up after one fell through the ceiling - did return when requested to, I sent photos. Dismissed my comments that they were covering up wet rotten wood Asked for payment before completion. Left and refused to complete the work ie remove wet rotten wood. Abusive comments through messages, advised the total to pay could be reduced and I should get another tradesman to complete the work. I sent photos of the rotten wood was advised they would return to complete the work. No confidence in this tradesman.

  Jason and his team are absolutely brilliant !!! They went above and beyond in so many ways. Nothing was too much trouble and they completed an excellent job in the face of some adversity ! Arrived when promised, completed all work and left everywhere clean and tidy. We would certainly give Jason and his team a 5* rating, highly recommended.
