  Plastering

  Posted 29 September

Plastered & smoothed walls, layed flooring (laminate, tiles), tiled bathrooms & kitchen

Fabian and his team are excellent at what they do, we were please with everything. We explain how we wanted the tiles to be layed and the ideas we had, Fabian created exactly what we asked for. A cupboard was opened up in the bedroom for a vanity area, we asked if we could have an arch, Fabian said it wasn't a problem and created the arch like it had always been there. Fabian and his team are very clean and won't leave any mess behind. We were happy to have Fabian on our renovation project and hope to have him on future projects.

  Skimming

  Posted 26 September

  Skimming, radiator removal and painting

Firstly the positives. Fabian is really polite and a great communicator. His skimming work was perfection and we loved the end result. He worked efficiently and quite neat. Unfortunately we had issues with the radiator we asked him to take off to skim the wall . It leaked before the job was finished and caused issues with the boiler affecting our hot water and heating for one evening. This went away when radiator was back on.. great … but then the radiator wasn’t heating up. He said he had done all he could, and he put it back as it was before so there shouldn’t be issues. I had his plumbers details so I should check with him instead. Radiator has since been fixed by another contractor - a simple fix but it meant we had no heating for a few months in that room. We also asked him to paint the room - but my husband had to go over his work. To his defence the walls were in awful shape but he should have said before starting that it wouldn’t be perfect. Or spent more time to make good which we would have been happy to pay for. Based on another review regarding toilet fit, it’s clear Fabian should steer clear of plumbing and focus his work on skimming which he’s very skilled at

Very proffesional and friendly service and great attention to detail. I have used Fabian a few times now for some plastering jobs and the standard has been great. Will be using him again. He does more than just plastering, a good allrounder for any of your needs.
