  Revamp of a rental property

  A small family run business with a combined wealth of knowledge. This proved very helpful on advising us on what to do and how best to get value for money. Professional, very virtuous and accommodating! They kept tidy and worked around us! The finish was professional and we will be using again and recommending by word of mouth.

  Decorating

  All work needs doing again, paint peeling after 1 month. Left us with light switches hanging off the walls live wires exposed. Fused light fittings, faulty electric socket, a nail through the wiring of burglar alarm system, leaving it disabled. Paint on outside paving in front garden horrendous and very dangerous. Electrics and alarm have had to be done already. Will need to get remainder of things Re done. Also he was threatening

  This is the first negative review out of many positive reviews that I have received. The litany of horrors described by this client bear no resemblance to the tasks I was employed to do. It was simply a plastering, painting and decorating job tested and clearly quoted for in a basic form. The client became considerably less cooperative after I explained that I couldn’t add extra endless tasks to the original quote without further charge as the job progressed. Her attitude prompted me to video the work I did for her, unfortunately this platform doesn’t allow me to show them for evidence of a job well done. I can only regret that sometimes clients don’t understand the meaning of a quote.

  Bedroom Re-done

  Bertrand was on time each day and worked hard. He completely redid our double bedroom including new wood flooring and underlay, plastering, a new plug point, painting, fitting a new curtain rail and fitting new shelves. He also helped me move the wardrobe back into the room at the end of the job!! Great value for money and would highly recommend!
