  Plaster lounge ceiling

  Ethan and Patrick did an excellent job of plastering my lounge ceiling. They were punctual, polite, professional and efficient. I would highly recommend them and intend to contact them for further work I have planned.

  New ceiling boards fitted, plastering of ceiling boards and walls

  Ethan didn't come on days he said he would, didn't work full days, dragged the job out, didn't use protective sheeting or clean up, didn't have the right equipment, blew the electricity, didn't remove old blown plaster before re-plastering, plastered over a damp patch (damp already showing through), didn't know how to use products, used metal beading with lime (it's already rusted) fitted ceiling boards with huge gaps/holes, left joins/beading visible after plastering, left scrim visibly hanging down after plastering, didn't plaster flat/smooth, left a shocking finish with trowel marks, wouldn't invoice

  I am very saddened by this review, after having over 200 plus good reviews this is the 1st bad one, the client project managed the job taking no advice from me, the property was empty with bare floorboards so we didn’t use dust sheets, there was only 1 socket which was a temporary supply inadequate for power tools, I worked there for 3 weeks if my work was bad why wait 3 week to complain, I could carry on but you can’t please everyone in 47 years this is my 1st complaint

  Skim Full Bedroom, Skim Ceiling and wall in Bedroom, Skim Hallway and Upstairs Landing

  Ethan and co were fantastic. Right from the initial quote where I then added a couple of extra items which were catered for an agreed very reasonable uplift, good communications throughout as I spread the work over a couple of weeks, 100% to his timekeeping (early starts!), was able to bounce ideas and get recommendations. Very courteous and did a good job of keeping things clean (which is hard, I've used several plasterers in the past). Standard of work is very good and I am planning to have him back to perform some rendering to resolve a damp issue followed by skimming of the final room.
