Desmond originally came to me to replace a bathroom sink and pedestal that was broken. He paid great attention to detail and did a really great job. So much so that I asked him back a couple of weeks later to tile my bathroom floor. He went beyond my expectations by not only doing a really good tiling job but also taking out and disposing of my old flooring and making sure every thing was tidy afterwards. He also put up with my yapping dogs. I highly recommend him!

Desmond did our bathroom and we honestly couldn’t be happier. He was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely caring, and he truly listened to everything we wanted. He went above and beyond, taking care of even the smallest details without us ever having to chase him. You can tell he really cares about his work. The bathroom looks absolutely amazing and I’m completely in love with it. The whole experience was stress-free, and I would recommend Desmond to everyone without hesitation.

Having used Desmond on two earlier jobs I discussed this with him and we negotiated a price to rip up and replace my kitchen tiles. This involved partially dismantling some units. I supplied the tiles and Desmond the labour and fixative costs. Most of the work was carried out by Carl who I knew from the previous job. Finished work is excellent and has given the kitchen a new lease of life.

Having previously had a cloakroom vanity unit refitted by Desmond, I decided to use his services strip out an old shower room and do a complete refurbishment of the existing bathroom. The price was base on me supplying all the units plus tiles, and Desmond picking up the other costs. A slightly risky way of working but communication was good and the project worked well. Desmond took on all our challenges and turned them into something that was workable. We replaced the bath with a walk-in shower, moved the wash basin to the opposite wall and turned the toilet round. This was my first experience with Desmond/Elevate. Found him very personable and practical. I wanted to replace a floating vanity unit with a new one in a downstairs cloakroom. I supplied the unit and Desmond then fitted it. Work carried out in half a day. It was important that there was no damage to the existing floor and wall tiles and I am pleased to say there was not. Fixed price quote. At a later date he also replaced the radiator

Extremely disappointed with Desmond. Initially liked his reviews but he turned out to be unreliable, unresponsive and unprofessional. Promised a kitchen and bathroom quote in August — never sent it despite many follow-ups. Recently, contacted him again to fix a leaking sink and for the kitchen quote, and again he promised to come this weekend but hasn't showed up. Ignored my messages again, leaving me waiting not knowing what's happening. He has poor communication, no reliability and has wasted my time more than once completely. Would never recommend. Not a man of his word at all!
