Let Down After Promising Fixed Price
Contacted this company about a straightforward sink and tap replacement. Was quoted £300 fixed price with no VAT or call-out fee. After I asked for the quote in writing, along with proof of insurance and warranty details (standard stuff), the price was suddenly doubled to £600 with no explanation beyond “you want official job.” Very poor communication, unprofessional attitude, and clear signs of shifting goalposts.
