Good value sofa recover
Good initial contact, very helpful with fabric samples, good communicator. Took 2 weeks to recover the sofa but looks like a completely new one. Cushions a little firmer than before but I understand they should settle with a bit of time.Verified reviewerJob location: PO162.33 Upholstery Repair

Replies, Then Ghosts, Then Forgets, Then Replies, Then... Forgets?
Contacted Eddie just before Christmas about repairing a sofa bed and was quoted £80. I accepted waiting until after the holidays, but the whole process dragged on for weeks with very poor communication and repeated chasing for updates. What should have been a simple repair ended up taking nearly two months. When the sofa was returned he had “forgot the handle” and even questioned whether I needed it. It’s a sofa bed… of course it needs the handle to pull it out. I paid in good faith before realising this still wasn’t finished and I’m still waiting for it to be sorted. Repair and re-upholster dining chair set.
I requested a quote from all Checkatrade recommended tradesman and they were all around the same. I then selected the nearest to my address and arranged for them to collect. We are based in Portsmouth and are specialists in furniture re-upholstery and repairs in the Hampshire area. Established upholsterer in Portsmouth with over 30 years experience.
We will restore your old furniture to its original pristine appearance by stripping it down to the frame then recovering it in a fabric of your choice.
