  Contacted Checkatrade on Sunday when noticed drain was blocked. Essex Drainage replied and attended on Tuesday - John and his mate flushed out the drains, gave advice and were very knowledgeable. No hesitation with recommending

• Replacement gully and ACO channels installation to facilitate proper drainage

  John was very personable and efficient in promptly visiting the site and diagnosing the problem we had with a collapsed drain built up in the back garden which was starting to impact the internal walls of the kitchen. The solution was to replace the old gully with a new gully and install ACO channels to facilitate proper drainage flow. He had to dig out the concrete along the back of the bi-fold doors to complete the job but reapplied cement afterwards and the job looked good with no snagging issues!

• New Drain Galleys going into original clay pipework from inspection chamber.

  "Skilled" first class work. Jon and Steve repaired a cracked toilet stack replacing the clay piping for new plastic piping and joined this to the adjoining neighbours clay piping that is as old as the house 1959. Cutting joints in this removing the outer cement and burring the edge of the existing piping. The work is skilled. They put in new Gulley's replacing damaged Galleys. I would recommend Steve and Jon you would be in safe hands with their work. They have a good customer manner also and you can discuss your needs with them in detail. They work hard and careful also.

  I am putting in a new patio the existing patio was on my DPC. Steve and Jon gave me a quote for 4 replacement Gulleys, a new Hopper, a new Gully for Fail water from my sink, a new hopper and pipework to my garage with new siled drainage with all materials supplied. The work is skilled the old ballast was cut away from the original clay pipes these could be 1959 and then chamfered with the grinder and flexible collars put on. It needed skill. Jon and Steve are friendly thoughtful reliable and most of all skilled for sure. If you are considering drain work you would be in safe hands.
