I asked for quotes from a number of contractors. Kevin was the only one who took the trouble to go into the loft to check whether there was a bigger problem. Happily it was only a few damaged slates. He carried out the work within a week of my enquiry. His price was very reasonable and in line with what I had expected. After one of the worst experiences with a roofer from checkatrade, I found Kevin's company. He promptly replied and answered all my queries. He assessed all the poor work previously done and was very honest explaining what needed repairing. On the day we had agreed, he showed up on time and left everything very tidy. Given we had just been scammed, he was very understanding and allowed us to pay in two instalments. Kevin was the only roofer we asked for an estimate for the job who actually went up on the roof and took photos in order to explain what was needed. He and his team were extremely professional.
