I was having difficulty using the door to our newly carpeted bedroom (I have a disability). Ted came to shorten the door on a bank holiday Monday, which was a great help. Following on from this, he re-hung five old doors for us, two of which required trimming to size, and added new locks and door furniture. He was extremely professional, arrived promptly at 08:00 and left around 19:30 after cleaning up the areas where work had been carried out. He asked questions when seeking clarity. We are very pleased with the quality of his work and will definitely use him for future projects.

Highly recommend Ted and Mick! We had a big job required on our staircase - removing and replacing handrails, spindles, and newel posts. They did a fantastic job and it has completely transformed the hallway. They also hung 10 new internal doors for us and did that brilliantly too. Would definitely recommend!

We recently had our loft boarded and couldn’t be happier with the service. Ted was friendly, hardworking, and did a perfect job from start to finish. I initially got Ted to help with removing a door so I could get furniture through, and then had him build a bespoke alcove cabinet, install a new handrail for my staircase, and help with a few other jobs around the house. He was great with communication, reliable, and quoted a fair price for all the work. Everything was completed in good time and finished to an excellent standard. He and his team were friendly and took great care with both their work and my home. I’d definitely recommend him and would happily use him again.

Fantastic builder and carpenter with a fine eye for detail. We have already booked EWD Construction for our future projects as we have now found our go to builder. Very skilled, efficient and tidy - the battery operated vacuum is amazing. EWD Construction was also extremely patient and friendly towards our very curious toddlers who really enjoyed watching the build happen in front of them!
