0.67 Abandoned the job, and always have excuses why they can't finish

After being hired to renovate two flats in October 2024, Excell abandoned the project when the I scaled back the work due to planning constraints. Despite receiving a £13k deposit and my repeated requests to at least secure the site and restore running water, Excell has consistently made excuses, citing more lucrative jobs. In March 2025, they refunded £5.5k of the deposit, keeping £7.5k for minor work. Our experience from start to finish with Excel was amazing. Matt spent time with us to help us understand our options and provided a detailed quotation. Connor completed the work and kept us well informed throughout. We were really impressed with how quickly the team worked. The quality of the final finished bathroom is exceptional.
