  Single storey rear extension to be built for a disabled access wet room + kitchen for elderly lady.

  Work started on the extension on 6 March 2023 and was expected to take about 12 weeks to complete. However progress has been alarmingly slow, with intermittent days and weeks of complete absence of workers’ on site. Lac of planning and communication has caused too many missteps and resulted in the entire project being unreasonably delayed and significantly distressing the client who’s health has been declining further as a result. Builder was to finalise the last stages of work, repairs and snags in January. It is now April 2024 and the builder has not returned to site, answered calls or mgs.

  Rear Extension and New Office

  We did a lot of research before selecting Faber-build who stood out from the rest. An excellent customer experience from start to finish. A very High standard of work delivered by Steve, Mark, Joe and the rest of the team. Nothing was too much trouble and they went over and above to meet our expectations. All contractors were managed expertly. Steve was very knowledgeable and an expert in all areas and was able to demonstrate this through the quality of his work. We were kept up to date with a week by week plan. The build has been completed to our satisfaction and turned out brilliant.

  Created a kitchen : diner; removed chimney; installed girders; installed Wren kitchen and appliances

  Very flexible company. All tradesmen were polite and trustworthy. Not phased by the inevitable challenges that come with building works. Kept to their quotes and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend them to anyone.

  Replacement of conservatory for full building

  Faber build is a local company which came highly recommended. We received the initial survey and estimate which was professionally completed and the plan of work was thoroughly explained. We agreed this and was happy with the price. We received a plan of work and was given a work schedule which was kept as closely as possible, delays only caused by adverse weather. I am not an expert in these things but I felt the materials used were of high quality and there did seem to be any scrimping on costs. The work was completed to a high quality and we would readily recommend Faber Build.

  Taking out old kitchen, plastering, electrics, plumbing and fit new kitchen.

  Matt from Faber Build looked after us throughout the process of having our new kitchen fitted. He was contactable throughout the process, either answering his phone immediately or getting back to me within a short time. All the tradesmen were respectful of our home, turned up when they said they would and did a good job. We had a couple of small issues but we felt able to discuss these with Matt and they were resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. Our new kitchen is great and I would definitely go back to Faber Build for any future projects.
