We can't put into words how wonderful Fitzroy has been! He has created our ideal media wall as well as completing other jobs around the house we didn't even think to ask about. Fitzroy created an electrical cupboard, boxed in pipes and brought my breakfast bar dream to life. We couldn't be happier with the services he provided for us. He went above and beyond and always checked we were happy every step of the way. The connections he has with other service providers e.g. plasters, made the whole process smooth sailing.

Fitzroy did an amazing job ripping out and replacing the ancient staircase in my house. Prior to his work it was so dangerous that we could not have elderly relatives visit. He carried out the work to a great standard, very quickly, and for a very fair price. We are thrilled with the end result and would absolutely recommend him to anyone for any joinery work. This is the third time we have hired him.

I cannot recommend F&S Joinery enough. I hired Fitzroy to remove my old staircase and then install a new staircase, between which I had the wall behind damp proofed. I found Fitzroy to be very patient & friendly, and hardworking & flexible on the job; especially considering the stop-start nature of the job. Plenty trustworthy to be left a key. He did everything he promised to do, to a great standard, for a fair quote. My partner spotted a very minor issue with a squeaking step, and Fitzroy came out the very next morning to sort it before my damp proof engineer came on site to start work.

Work was excellent, done to a great standard. Offered helpful suggestions for improvements and communication was great. highly recommend. friendly too!

Outstanding workmanship. The loft boarding is solid, level, and built to last, and the panelling across the eaves has completely tidied up the space and made it far more usable. He clearly knows what he’s doing — measured everything properly, checked details with me before committing, and worked neatly and professionally throughout. Turned up on time, no messing about, and left the place spotless. Really impressed and would recommend him without hesitation.

It was a no show by another company to come and quote, Fitzroy came the same day after I got in touch with him. He took the time to suggest ideas and explain my banister being replaced. He also made my loft hatch bigger with new ladder. He only came initially to do the banister and loft. Fitzroy ended up replacing 6 internal doors, including double doors. He also rebuilt my very dated coat cupboard from scratch, and has done a fantastic job on all the work I ended up asking him to do. He is a very nice guy, who takes pride in his work and respect for his customers. Definitely recommend.
