  • Landscaping front garden

    We contacted Sam with a large job. I had a clear idea of what I wanted for our front garden which included fully removing existing trees, wall, concrete paving, and creating a double driveway, new pathways, new walls, fencing and planting. Sam was a pleasure to work with, super open, flexible to work with on design, supporting choosing materials etc. He was always so courteous, a pleasure to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. He always kept us fully informed. The quality of his work is very high, , he is tidy and I couldn’t recommend him enough.

  • Beautiful garden landscaped

    We have had our small new build landscaped. three planters, paving and a concrete slope from the entry way so anything with wheels can be moved about easily. ferndale landscaping's work is to a very high standard. They also clean/tidy as they go, they then sweep and wash everything. Hardly know they had been here - except for my lovely garden.

  • Re-Pointing of garage wall plus guttering repairs

    As always, Sam does a really nice job leaving the place tidy and complete. I had a combination of small jobs that needed doing and Sam was happy to help out. I had some pointing repaired that was letting some water through into our garage. Sam also fixed a poorly angled run of guttering for me along with some cementing within the garage to smooth out a slight difference in floor levels. Everything was done quickly and Sam checked all the way along just to ensue I was happy with the work. I have used Sam before and will be happy to use him again in the future.

    Sam and his mate Jack came to change my garden including patio area, entrance to front drive, stepping stone path at the back from patio to end of garden. They were hard working, friendly, offering advice when needed , couldn't fault. Also odd little things they done, which weren't in the plan. No hesitation to recommend......

Sam has vast experience in all aspects of groundworks and landscaping. After working on site for over 8 years, meaning he could run his own gang he decided to step away from site work to run his own business on private projects, preferring to be able to use his knowledge and experience to help people produce and achieve the projects they dream of.
