Supplying and installing artificial turf
I asked 3 companies to quote for supplying and laying artificial turf over the area at the back of my house. Ank and Fine Laid Land were the most engaged, competitive and offered different options for types of grass and work to be done. Arrival of the grass and installation was exactly as advised. There were a couple of choices and decisions to be made (not problems) as the installation progressed and these were highlighted, discussed and agreed constructively. Artificial grass over a 4.5 m * 3m front porch
Absolute nightmare dealing with this fellow and his rookie company. Whilst his courtesy was 10/10 the whole time work was carried out in an unprofessional manner with me being charged 40% of the original quote. The guy himself did the survey and intended to charge me later for a front porch of small Size. Most of the revised invoice was “admin fees” and “design fees” which was ridiculous. He even threatened me of legal action when I disputed his charges. And the work was finished in 12 days when initially quoted for 3 days. We have industry leading, dispute resolution processes in place to help resolve conflicts without legal proceedings. This process currently has 100% success rate. Quite unfortunate that you feel this way since, Fine Laid Land Ltd. has always maintained professional decorum. SHAMEFUL that even after the beautiful transformation of your front porch (see pictures on our profile), you have decided to lie and defame a start-up business out of SPITE. You were even given a 70% discount. We removed over 450kg of constructional waste that was dumped on the installation site by your previous endeavours, which was not part of the original signed contract. One of many changes to the original contract. YOUR indecisiveness, resulted in multiple last-minute cancellations of material orders, which resulted in a delayed project completion time. ADDITIONAL WORK RESULTS IN ADDITIONAL CHARGES and you have been informed about all changes as the project progressed. Your own statement of "Just get the work done, I have no issue paying you as long as the work is done" was extremely misleading for us. Best Wishes Fine Laid Land Ltd.
