  Driveways / Patios / Paths

  Posted 4 days ago

  would NOT recommend this company.

I paid £6,000 upfront by bank transfer, as the contractor insisted on full payment. The existing driveway was removed and sharp sand laid before he walked off the job, demanding an additional £3,840 and saying he couldn’t return until mid-December. Five other contractors have assessed the work and advised that the preparation is unsuitable for a driveway and needs redoing. I received a refund of £1,775 but am still seeking the remaining £4,225. My calls, messages and emails are being ignored. An extremely stressful and disappointing experience. I would advise others to think carefully.

  Dropped curb

Very good service, dropped the curb for our driveway he previously did for us. Very good customer service, very happy with the results. Last bit of work is to tarmac the pavement but once that is completed it will look very good! Very happy!

First Class in Name First Class in Service !

An excellent service from start to finish . Everything was done as planned very quickly and professionally with an amazing outcome for my drive ( doubling in size ) . The workmen didn’t stop from the time they arrived to the time they finished each day.I would thoroughly recommend Les and the team to anyone thinking of having work done . I was delighted with the result and the energy put into the work they did . They spoke to neighbours to inform them what was happening and were very considerate regarding access to the property . Thankyou so much First Class Groundworks.

First Class Groundwork - First Class Finish

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We are absolutely delighted with the transformation of our garden! From what was previously a tired, uneven space, the team have created a beautiful, modern garden that has completely changed the look and feel of our home. The finished decking, artificial grass and paving look fantastic, and the attention to detail throughout has made such a difference. The whole project has been a pleasure to see come together, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. A huge thank you to the team at First Class Groundwork for all their hard work. We would happily recommend them to anyone.

  Gravel / Shingle Driveways

Professional , these chaps know what they are doing.

First Class Groundwork’s have just completed the taking up of my 80sq metre front lawn, Edging with concrete, putting down a sandy/grit base. Then plastic grids on top, covered with gravel. It took Les and his fellow workers just a few days to complete, They all worked so incredibly hard, tidying everything up as they went along, It has totally transformed the front of my bungalow, and no more grass to mow. If you want a professional job done, these are your guys, I can’t praise them enough
