  Tarmac Driveways

  Superb Tarmac Driveway

We had to replace a broken drainpipe in our drive, which involved digging a trench and then covering it with a layer of tarmac. This was ok except it made the drive look unsightly. Hence we decided that we wanted the whole drive to be resurfaced. We contacted several companies, but was most impressed with Jesse from FJB Groundwork Sevices.. He explained what was involved and how long it would take. On day 1 they did the preparation work and resurfacing the following day. The work was carried out professionally and expertly, and we are delighted with the finish which has transformed our drive!

Remove an existing Tarmac driveway and replace with a new Tarmac driveway.

My Tarmac Driveway is looking fabulous and I could not be more pleased with the job done by FJB Groundwork Services. Unseen problems were exposed under the existing driveway when it was dug but they were expertly resolved without any increase to the initial estimate. I found Jesse to very knowledgeable and he had an incredible eye for detail. He worked tremendously hard with no stops throughout his day and kept me informed at every stage of the work. I found him very trustworthy and I would not for one instant hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is looking for their driveway to be replaced

  Tarmac driveway.

Jesse and his team have just completed a full tarmac driveway for me. I had previously some years ago had my driveway done by both Jesse and his late father Fred who at the time had done a superb job. So knowing how good Jesse's work is I had no issue in asking him again to complete the work. Jesse communicated everything very clearly, arrived on time every day, was polite and very hard working. I can't recommend FJB enough brilliant family business who do a great honest job. Incredible work thank you again Jesse.

  Large communal driveway Tarmac

Jesse did an outstanding job Tarmacking our large communal driveway. From the outset, he was very clear what work would be undertaken, and kept us informed along the way. He’s very much of a perfectionist, and has an incredible eye for detail. The job was completed within the time frame laid out with minimal disruption, and invoiced as quoted. Thank you Jesse for an outstanding job, and making the driveway to and from our houses a pleasure to use.

Excellent company with values and integrity

Jesse did a superb job of repairing, cleaning, re-sanding and sealing my 20 year old driveway and it now looks amazing. He was a pleasure to deal with, nothing was too much trouble and the standard of his work was excellent - he’s a real perfectionist and likes to do things properly. Final bill was exactly as quoted even though I know he used extra materials that hadn’t been accounted for. Jesse combines top notch service with old fashioned values and integrity - a rare find these days. Thank you Jesse 👍

Renovation of drive and patio area, remove large shrubs and relay lawn

Having used FJB Groundworks previously over 25 years I was confident the work I required would be carried out to their usual high standards. And Jesse and his team didn’t disappoint. From start to finish they created the minimum disruption and kept the whole area clean and tidy throughout the duration of the work. They were flexible in everything they did and undertook some additional work without charge. Jesse is very knowledgeable and he made several suggestions which were a big improvement to my initial plans. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending FJB Groundworks.
