Beware of expensive quotes for emergency work
I recently had to find a plumber for a leak at a flat I own in Roehampton. They were straight out to the job but when they got there they quoted me double for a job (I later verify with another plumber) citing as it was an emergency they needed to charge more. As I was on the hook for the ~£125 call out charge I agreed (I was also at the hospital with my sick wife). Anyway, I am not saying don’t use them, as they did come quickly… but just be aware that they might choose to leverage on their position and inflate the quote to an unreasonable degree.Verified reviewerJob location: SW1510 Bathroom & Kitchen Plumbing

Replace a toilet

Excellent
We had a sump pump failure on Wednesday afternoon. Charlie came to the house and drained the tank and explained the restrictions on water /sewage usage in the house. He worked with us to find the correct replacement pump and where to source it for next day delivery. Pump was delivered early Friday and by 4pm Friday it was fully installed, checked and the room cleaned. Very efficient, professional and fairly priced. Replacement sink fittings.
Very simple job that I had been struggling with all day due to pipe sizes and fittings. Called me at 9.30pm in a Thursday and just talked me through it.
