Forté Construction is a family-owned principal contractor with over three decades of experience delivering building projects across the UK, Europe, New Zealand and Australia — including many years of high-end private residential work in France. Rather than a general builder juggling trades, we run the whole project with our own team, taking a build from first survey through to the finished, handed-over property. We’re a fully qualified, time-served outfit with the trade tickets and building qualifications to back the work — all listed on our accreditations page. What matters most to us is single accountability: one name responsible for the whole build, so you always know exactly who to speak to.

Full project delivery for private and residential clients — new builds, extensions, renovations and restoration — managed end to end by one contractor instead of a chain of subcontractors. That includes the structural and groundworks stages, which we self-deliver, so a single team and a single programme carry the whole job. We work across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Rather than a quick call-out, we start with a proper conversation about what you’re building, give you a straight answer on whether we’re the right contractor for it, and a considered quote for the work.

We’ve delivered large-scale construction for a leading independent school on a live campus, showroom installations as preferred contractor for a national premium retail brand, and — across France — high-end private homes, estate-scale conversions, historic-building restoration and renewable off-grid systems. As principal contractor, we carry full responsibility for health, safety and site management: sites are run properly, coordinated under one programme, and left clean and tidy at every stage.
