    Double door lock repairs.

    Andy has just finished repairs to both the front and back door locking systems. Both jobs completed quickly and with the minimum of fuss. Excellent communication and a very reasonable price. I would happily use Andy again should any future issues arise. Top man.

    Fortify Locksmiths stood out from the others in the Checkatrade pamphlet. I phoned Andy and as he couldn't take my call at that time he said he would phone me back. He followed up with a call not long after and took all the details of my issue. I didn't have an emergency but did need the work done within a week. He messaged the day after and was with us within the hour. Lovely chap who explained the work he was doing and the costs involved. Reasonable price and speedy service with a smile - many thanks Andy!

    Locksmith review

    Andy turned up on time, the next day after my online request for a quote. He confirmed my front door lock needed replacing and carried out the work in 30 minutes. He was polite, described in detail how the old lock had broken down internally. I would highly recommend his services as a genuine locally based locksmith.

Hi, I'm Andy and I'm the owner of 'Fortify Locksmiths'.

I run an independent, local locksmith and uPVC repair business providing an emergency call out service and general domestic and commercial work covering most of the North East.

I am nationally accredited (NCFE level 4) and have recent DBS clearance with over 25 years in the security industry, so you know your home or business is in trusted hands.

Importantly, I'm the locksmith you'll speak to on the phone and the locksmith that visits you.

I'm also a mobile locksmith, which means that I carry a range of lock cylinders and multi-point locks for most uPVC door types and cylinders and mortice locks for wooden doors too. Giving you the comfort of being able to secure your property without having to put parts on order. (However if I do have to order any parts, I don't charge for a follow up visit).

I offer commercial and residential customers:
