ames did an absolutely cracking job from start to finish, replacing our shower extractor fan quickly and professionally. He’s a genuinely lovely chap—courteous, tidy, reliable and an excellent communicator. We’re really pleased with the work, and James will now be our first call for any electrical jobs. It’s great to have found a local electrician we can trust, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to friends, family or anyone looking for a brilliant sparky.

James did a fantastic job moving some plug sockets & adding new ones. He managed to find really reasonable solutions to a couple of issues, giving us some additional options, which were communicated well which we hadn’t considered re positioning. James was prompt & left the house spotless after he was done. Would highly recommend as a trustworthy, hardworking electrician.

This is the third time I’ve used Fredrick Electric and in June ,James installed a free standing cooker and removed two built in ovens.As usual ,he did not delay the work and made sure the electric connection were safe.I highly recommend his work,for exactness,and a good affordable price. Also he is very polite and responds quickly to any questions.

James replaced a plastic consumer unit of unknown provenance, and only two usable ways, requiring an extra switched fused connection unit, with a modern metal CU containing RCBOs and an SPD, getting rid of the SFCU. He re-terminated an SWA cable directly into the CU, getting rid of a junction box hanging off the bottom of the plastic CU. He then tidied up all of the cabling clipping it to the wall whereas previously it was just flapping about. At the other end of the SWA was a consumer unit containing a mix of RCD and RCBO. This now contains only RCBOs and has been tidied up.
