• Kitchen/Dining Room extension

  We are nearing the end of a sizeable rear extension to our bungalow in Hambridge. Darren and his team - George and Jim - have been completely honourable and trustworthy throughout the build. We gave Darren a brief, he set to work, co-ordinated the necessary trades, and the result is amazing. Really decent people to have on site - we shall miss them when they're gone!

• Wall ties and building works for oil tank removal

  We were in a very long and drawn out purchase of a property which was becoming very painful. Thank goodness we found Darren as he was able to get a very complicated gable wall secured on an old thatched cottage that helped us get nearer to completion. At the eleventh hour we needed an oil tank moved to complete, Darren rang us when hearing about it and managed to sort out a replacement within 48hrs. To say we were grateful is an understatement! We have a big renovation ahead of us and would not consider anyone else!

• Removal of inner wall

  Darren and his team removed a load bearing wall in our kitchen, and installed a steel beam to replace it. All the work was carried out efficiently and extremely tidily, with Darren keeping us updated throughout. We're delighted with the work and would recommend his services unreservedly!

  I contacted a number of builders via Checkatrade in the spring about a few jobs at our new property, but hardly any of them replied. Darren was responsive and easy to deal with. He scheduled the most urgent job to suit us at fairly short notice after we'd moved in. He and his team are friendly and helpful, and their work is of a great standard. They also completed a couple of small extra jobs while they were here by installling hand rails for my elderly dad.

  This is the 2nd time Darren and his team have done some work on our house and I really cannot praise them all enough for the standard of workmanship, kindness and helpfulness. We will continue to call upon Darren regarding future work to our house next year.

• Making a doorway from kitchen to dinning room

  Darren has jus finished putting a doorway in for us between our kitchen and dining room, a messy job that was very well contained and inconvenience kept to a minimum. Darren and co are all very friendly, knowledgeable and excellent tradesmen. They were prompt and arrived when they said, the work was completed in excellent time also. We would wholeheartedly recommend their services for anyone wanting a small or large job - we have them on call for our next run of work including plastering, general kitchen/bathroom work and anything else we decide to do.
