Solar Inverter, Battery, Power Divert and EPS changeover installation.
G&E Services installed a Solis Solar Inverter and Batteries and wired up my existing solar panels. Phil was quite patient with me, discussing the different options and what was available at the time. He was knowledgable and able to implement some less usual requirements. He gave me a quote, his guys came and carried out the installation. They were friendly, helpful and tidy. When the bill arrived, it matched the quote - though I think they spent longer on the job than anticipated. I fully expected the bill to be higher! I would 100% use their services again!

Installation of solar panels and battery
I asked for a quotation after I had seen all of the excellent reviews on Check a Trade. Initially Phil did a remote quotation and then I had a site meeting with Phil, whom like his team is friendly, efficient and well informed. He answered all my questions and I felt reassured that he would continue in assisting me with any queries I had even after the installation, which has been the case. The installation went smoothly and the team arrived on time and were friendly yet professional, tidy and courteous.They kept me well informed and helped with the app. I would highly recommend them.
Solar panels and new fuse box fitted
Very friendly staff: workmen and telephone advice/sales. Very quick and efficient. I had to call them back because I thought they had made an error. Came back the next day - no error had occurred it was simply an optical illusion. All good.
13 Solar Panels and Battery
Very impressed with the whole process. Phil provided the illustration and quote advising what could be done at our house. Lucy was great and even managed to arrange the install to be brought forward. On the day the guys got all the panels up very efficiently. A minor hiccup with one of the batteries not working out of the box, to be fair they swapped it within a couple of hours - can't fault the service. Once finished, they helped set up and give a run through the app. Everyone was excellent all round! I will highly recommend G&E Services to anyone thinking of getting solar.
Installation of Solar panels, battery and hot water diverter
Turned up on time. Had meeting to discuss who did what work and then off they went. Very efficient and knowledgable. They split into two teams, one for the Solar install and one for the battery and diverter install. Fast, clean courteous and informative of what they were doing. Job finished within the day. Very happy with everything. Any further installs or electrical work I require these will be the first on my list.
Installation of solar PV and replacement MCB
Phil and team were great. From the word go Lucy and Phil talked me through the options for solar PV, gave me well priced quotes and there was no pressure while I got quotes from other installers. The scaffolding turned up the day before, the guys were quick and efficient. The install on the day was seamless, with a small army of people on site all who were very tidy and courteous. The after install care has been great too, with Phil and Lucy both helping me with my questions to sort the SEG tarriff. Great service, seamless and good value. Would definitely recommend.
Fit new gas boiler
VERY POOR SERVICE. Initially a good job done, but since December 2022 I have sent emails, texts, voicemails and spoken on several occasions to a lady in the office trying to arrange a safety check and service. Despite apologies and assurances that the owner Phil Sparrow would call me back he never has. Not even a quick message to say he was too busy at the moment.

THIS REVIEW IS NOT RELATIVE TO WORK WE HAVE DONE. The customer had a boiler fitted by us early 2021 as per review "a good job was done" They were happy on completion & there has not been a single issue since this fitting, however they wanted to book a new service - this is no way contracted to original job and can be done by ANY gas engineer. They left 2 messages with the answering service Dec/ Jan that were missed after an extremely busy Xmas catch up then have left this malicious & misleading review about not being contacted. This is very upsetting as we pride ourselves on our customer service & a complete exception to what all our customers say about us as per other reviews. THEY ARE NOT REVIEWING THEIR BOILER FITTING JUST US NOT TAKING ON ANOTHER JOB FROM THEM TWO YEARS LATER!!!
Solar panels and batteries
From first contact to completion of the job Phil and Lucy could not of been more professional and the team of workers who put up the scaffolding, then the guys who came and fitted the panels and batteries etc continued the in the same manner. Any questions were answered fully and everything was explained to me so I could understand. They do not charge to come out and survey the job unlike many other companies do. When Phil came out to me he explained how things would be fitted and answered many questions I had. I recommend this company very highly. Thank you to all the team, Robert

Phil, Owen and the whole team were fantastic from start to finish. Very professional and completed the work in 1 day, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install solar.
