  Panelling and painting

Would 100% recommend GB Carpentry . George is a hard worker, meticulous and skilled. If that wasn’t enough he is also a very tidy worker and a perfectionist, hard to find good skilled tradesmen and I would recommend, which I have already done , to anyone looking for a carpenter and painter that does a proper job ( I am not related 😀) just a very happy customer

  Great Workmanship

George made some alcove units for us, incorporating shelving, storage for wood and cupboards. I briefly outlined what I wanted and he delivered, with a stunning result. He was with us for a week and in that time he absolutely transformed the space. He was polite, hardworking and very tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend GB Carpentry and am already planning another project for George to complete for us.

  Bespoke high level finish

I asked GB joinery to fit a new laminate floor and make custom wardrobes to go either side of a chimney breast. I’m thrilled with the finished result. The floor is expertly fitted around the heating pipes and looks amazing. The wardrobes fit the spaces perfectly and I am thrilled with the pull down rails and built in shelving and drawers - exactly as I requested. It was good to get advice on the colour I ended up choosing. I’m so pleased with the end result. I have already asked George to quote for modernising my staircase and I am confident he will do another amazing job. Great work.

  Cupboard and stair gate

George designed and built a custom-made cupboard, as well as a stair gate. This is the second time we’ve used George, as we were very impressed with the media wall he built for us. From start to finish, as with the media wall, we knew that both would turn out fantastically. George worked tirelessly to ensure that both projects turned out perfectly, and we would use him again for any other projects that we have coming up.

  Great quality work

George built under stairs storage for us to replace an old cupboard. The work done was great and completed within a week. George is a really clean worker and the area was tidied up every night so minimal disruption. I’d definitely recommend George.
