I used GDH fire and security to install some cat 6 data cable around my house to prepare for a wifi mesh system. Tyler and George both explained how the system would work and also the advantages of having it, it was clear and simple to understand. GDH Fire and Security and Helsdown Electrical (George and Tyler) were exceptionally good, trustworthy, caring, knowledgeable, thorough, reliable, amazing communication and faultless. And unlike a standard electrician this outfit know and do more. Go the extra mile - they are engineers up to date on all the latest tech (in-line many electricians) and able to future proof and think through best options that are optimal - not at all close to a standard electrician . Always the same service and workmanship since I've known them , unusual these days . Their other company Helsdown Electrical rewired and refurbished the house in 2019 and GDH now carry out the AV side . George and Tyler are always courteous, informative and second year they have now carried out maintenance to keep things smooth and working . GDH Fire & Security Ltd has been set up by George Helsdown in 2019 and is the sister company to Helsdown Electrical Contractors Ltd(Also on checkatrade), which has over 50 years combined experience.

We have decided to break into this field of work as a separate business due to the amount of requests or due to the fact we were handling this type of work as well as the Electrical Installation side and it makes sense for the two companies to operate in parallel to handle most customers needs in the Domestic, Commercial and Industrial area's with the same people they can trust. AV, Fire Alarms, Intruder, WIFI and CCTV systems can al be accommodated. We have many happy and returning customers for over 30 years, you can be sure of being well looked after. Our aim is to provide a stress free project, delivered in a manner that I am confident will exceed your expectations. I work with a small team of trusted colleagues, who communicate and work together well. Our customers are accustomed the outstanding quality of projects we complete, by sourcing quality materials with experienced installers we create a safe, neat and tidy work that will last.
