  Gye, who runs G H has assembled a brilliant team of colleagues including Phil, Guy, Damien, Lee and Kevin. They have all been great to have in my home during an extensive project. Great workmanship combined with politeness, friendliness and honesty. I had a week away while they have been working and had no concerns with giving them my keys for that week, which hopefully says a lot. They have delivered improvements to my home covering a full range of trades; carpentry, plumbing, lighting/electrics, flooring and decorating and I couldn't be happier with the results.

• Extensive repairs to garages on driveway.

  This company was awarded the job, initially, on the best price for the complete repair to garages extensively damaged by a vehicle collision. Gye Hankin and James did a very good job, working in circumstances with difficult access. Also, they removed an amount of rubble, as a separate commission, again, very economically; a good job all round!

• En-suite shower room re-fitted

  I had my en-suite shower room recently re-fitted by Gye. The old tiles, shower, shower door, tray and drain were removed and new ones re-fitted. He did an excellent job, so reliable and got the whole job done on time as agreed. Left the property clean and tidy. I’m happy with his job and would recommend him anytime

• Bathroom re-fitting

  Gye and Phil did fantastic job in stripping out and then re-fitting a bathroom. Always turned up early and stayed until that day’s jobs were complete. Left the worksite very clean each day. Few design changes along the way were handled without fuss and job came in bang on quote. Would definitely recommend- this was the first time using GHPS and would do so again unhesitatingly. Incidentally if Gye offers you a quid for each time Phil refuses a brew then you won’t make any money. Make sure you stock up on teabags and sugar!

• Refit of en suite bathroom

  We wanted to refit our en suite bathroom but had to downscale our ideas. GH were paticularly helpful in advising us what could be done on a more limted budget. Guy warned of things that would not be practical/sensible and saved us wasting money on fittings etc. that for various reasons would not work, e.g we could not have a floor level shower tray, or a mirrored bathroom cabinet. All work was done to our satisfaction.
