Knock through, reconfiguration and installation of bifold doors
Delighted with the work completed. Simon and his team were a dream to work with. Communication was fantastic and the job ran completely to time and on budget. The team were quick, friendly and efficient workers as were the other trades Simon brought in. We had a chimney breast, supporting wall, ceilings and old plaster removed, 3 large RSJs installed, a door moved, other doors and windows blocked in, back wall removed and replaced with bifold doors, solid floor and underfloor heating installed, rewiring and plumbing for the new space, new ceilings, dry wall and plastering. Top quality finish.
Repaired fencing
Very good job. Quick friendly and efficient.
To supply and install artificial grass.
Couldn’t fault the work carried out. The old grass and materials were removed and new sleepers and artificial grass laid. We are really happy with the end result and the team left the garden clean and tidy.
To render the fronnt and side of a detached house plus external painting.

We had three rooms renovated to one open plan kitchen/dinning area.
Gibson Building carried out the entire works including taking out a massive chimney to open up the space. All of the workmen we had on site were lovely, and tidied up as much as was possible each night. Simon was always on hand to answer our queries and re-assure us. He was able to secure some excellent trades people, even though we had tried and was told there would be a very long wait. All work was carried out to our exact specification and that of the structural engineer. The end result is amazing and we couldn't be happier.
Chimney Stack - replace cement capping to top of chimney stack.
I have got to know Simon whilst he has been doing extensive internal refurbishment work for a neighbour. Having observed his work and results, I had no hesitation in asking him to carry out the above work for me. I am delighted with the end result, and Simon’s careful explanation of materials and construction method, I am confident that the new work will now last a lifetime. Simon is a real pleasure to work with in every way, he has without doubt quickly become my go to builder whom I would also now happily recommend to others.
