Colin worked for me on a renovation project over the summer . He is very reliable and does a very thorough and professional job to a high standard . He is not the cheapest but I have found that in life you get what you pay for .

We have been so impressed by the work Colin has done. This has included restoring banisters back to the original wood, removing textured wallpaper, and decorating over three storeys. We are really pleased with the outcome. The finish is exceptional and everything looks pristine. Colin is skilled, courteous, cheerful, willing, and is very knowledgeable and experienced in painting and decorating. He takes great care in his work, protecting furniture and carpets in the surrounding area, and is meticulous in cleaning. Colin is trustworthy, and we would highly recommend Giles Decor.

We've worked together for seven years on my very old and previously neglected house (an annual session on each phase of the project) and I don't know what I'd have done without Colin. This was the final stage, the master bedroom and the landing, with much bodging and many defects to put right, which took about three months, Nov 2023 to Feb 2024. Colin can renovate as well as redecorate. He is sensitive to a property's needs, creative, knowledgeable, resourceful, totally reliable and a joy to work with.
