Gareth worked extremely hard in very warm conditions to complete the job. Sensibly he turned up early to start the job before it got too hot. He took down several sycamore saplings which were endangering our garden shed, removed two shrubs which were well past their best and pruned two holly hedges which had grown too big. I was happy to follow his recommendation as to how the holly should be pruned rather than my thought. He completed the work within a morning and left the site totally clean. I have no hesitation in recommending Gareth to anyone.

We used Checkatrade to get quotations to have 2 large fir trees removed. The owner of GJ Gardens Ltd was quick to respond and visit. He had good knowledge relating to the trees and removal. The owner followed up the visit with a competitive quotation. Once a decision was made to use GJ Gardens a date was set. Communication was excellent. On the days of removal, the owner and two others worked tirelessly and were extremely efficient and tidy. Would highly recommend.

Although he was originally scheduled to come with a colleague on the first day, he turned up alone when his colleague couldn’t make it and worked through almost the entire day—despite the rain. We have used Gareth a few times now and his work is excellent. This time he took down a yew tree close to the house that was causing problems. Turned up on time, did the work in good time, cleared everything away and did it in a friendly, courteous way. The price was also very competitive. We will use him again.
