Mr Styles quoted for reroof in Dec due to a leak we had.His reviews through checkatrade seemed ok.He emailed a quote a few days later. He txt me Xmas Eve and I told him I would be in touch in the New Year.In June 22 he sent me an arrogant text if I didnt want his services to say and not ignore his txts .I told him my Mum had been taken serious ill. He said his quote stood .Sadly my Mum passed 4 days after his txt .Today I received this"Thank you for letting me know about the roof- what a waste of my time I think a bullet dodged".I have never experienced harrassement by a trader &dont recommend him

My roofer was working opposite the consumer house last December
She spoke to him regarding her leaky roof - he responded by giving her some advise
She asked for a quote for the works involved to renew her roof membrane
I quoted straight away - rain was ingressing into her bedroom and the ceiling was in danger of coming down
I messaged the consumer Christmas Eve to make sure she received my quote
I contacted her to chase up my quote by email and text
The Consumer hadn’t replied until I asked her to respond so I could arrange or cross off my list
She responded by telling me her mother had been poorly - to this I said I was sorry about her situation (she Conveniently left this out of her negative review)
Closure
I felt that I had invested my time and roofer’s time equivalent to half a day - Trying to help her and that she has promised to let me know but to this she failed
I refute any suggestion of harassment I feel this is a complete fabrication of the truth —
