My knights in shining armour - amazing!
TIm, Steve and his whole team were beyond amazing during what was a very huge and somewhat complicated clearance job at my parents house before a move. I was doing this on my own on their behalf and I felt very looked after. Communication was top notch and they all worked like Trojans! They were my knights in shining armour! I could not have done this without them. I can't recommend them highly enough.Verified reviewerJob location: GL1610 House Clearance

Clearing a detached house and garage of all items
Tim and his team were great, they were on time, polite and respectful. They were responsive and fair with some changes that came along the way and left everything in good order.Verified reviewerJob location: GL610 Rubbish / Waste / Clearance

Full clearance of 3-bedroom house, including furniture, housewares, white goods
Excellent service from Tim and the site team. Very good communication and planning in advance, for a busy town location. Communication also excellent on the day. The site team were friendly, methodical and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble and all aspects (eg disconnection of white goods) were handled quickly and neatly. Clearance needed two van trips but this was all explained and carried out without problems. Cost was extremely competitive and with such good service, I can highly recommend this great team.Verified reviewerJob location: GL7

We are a not-for-profit house clearance social enterprise. Our vision is of a new circular economy where the waste we all produce is better recycled, reused and recirculated. If we do this then we can create new jobs, reduce our impact on the planet and make our economy more vibrant.
We were born out of Stroud District Furniture Bank who were collecting furniture and increasingly being asked to dispose of unwanted waste items. This meant we had to adapt so we created Gloucestershire House Clearances in November 2020.
As a Community Interest Company, we have charitable aims and an asset lock which means all our surplus income is recycled to help further our social goals.
We sit under the umbrella of The Grace Network - Stroud District Furniture Bank, Stroud District Kids’ Stuff, The Long Table, The Bike Drop and Kick Off Stroud.
When we make a surplus we recycle the money to allow us to innovate and create new waste reduction solutions. For example, most recently, we used our profit to buy more sophisticated equipment to salvage rare earth metals out of electrical equipment. This allows us to recycle more and develop our environmental aims.
