I had a roof covering replaced in November 2024. All seems ok and there are no leaks. I have still not received my paperwork despite being told by Gareth its 'in his boot'. I had my roof replaced to prepare my house to sell and lack of any paperwork will cause me a problem. I would not have used this company had he given a quote and said there was no guarantee involved!! It seems im not the only customer with this issue (another one on here). I would never spend 7k without the promise of a guarantee. Sadly now I am being met with insults and abuse so have had to report to Trading Standards.

I was very pleased with the work that GMD done on my house. My new roof looks great and despite it took longer than expected, it was worth the wait. The quality of work and materials were outstanding, but I am disappointed that to this day (3months since the completion) I have not received any receipts, guarantee paperwork despite several promises by Gareth. The communication has been difficult since I had paid for the roof and the only proof that I have about the completed job is an invoice. It is a shame that a good work has to be shadowed by the lack of professionalism and responsiveness.

A very weak mixture of concrete used to re-point ridge tiles, a lot of which has since fallen out.

Came to assess the job then returned in 2 days to fix the leaking roof. Charged us £200 for which we received no receipt. He told us that if we had any problems to give him a call. When it rained the roof leaked worse than ever,so we called him. He said that there was no guarantee? And after several calls and promises to come back he never did. This evening he was supposed to come at 5.30, but no show yet again! We have now suffered considerable water damage to our property. We have given him plenty of chances to put his work right. Shockingly bad and very sure that he will do this to others!

This work was carried out for my 92 year old mom who had not long had a new roof fitted but the job was dreadful. GMD came to give us a quote, advised what work needed to be carried out and then completed when they said they would. All the work men were polite, helpful and hard working. I would highly recommend this company.
