  If its more than one colour Umar is not your Guy.

  OMG what a stressful process with Umar. 4 days work took 7 and even at that I had to fix his work. I would have been cheaper and quicker doing it myself. The boys are nice lads but really really messy. £80 tins of paint wasted, spilled paint on the carpet, the finish is terrible for professionals. They are punching way above their capabilites. Sanding every day. 12 pots of paint on the go at the one time it was not good, not one room finished, loads of areas missed. If you want white ceiling, walls and skirtings Umar is your guy, if you want Dulux he is your guy.Anything else forget it!

  Tracey im very disappointed you left this review considering the conditions we were made to work under which you are fully aware of. You expect us to carry the work under certain time frame, maybe the delays were caused by people constantly walking in and out the rooms and causing safety hazards? Our your family members taking our tools to use for their own needs? Or possibly because you had work going on in the house and we were limited by the amount of work we needed to do? humans make mistakes and we've compensated you for that too, you've didn't even give us under coat paint!   After domestic rewiring, 3 rooms redecorated, rest of house repaired where plaster had been damaged

  Competitive quote & initially responsive. Polite & courteous, good value, disappointing timescale. Estimated 4-5 days, took 18, stressful & chaotic. Workers arrived late, often left early. 2 days no show. Trader 2-timed us with a/o overrun job. More funds requested 3 times. We declined 3rd. Redecorated 3 rooms good standard. Elsewhere, neat painted lining paper patch strips. 2 ceilings we expected painted, were instead patched & patches painted – but really well done. We knew patches were economical, but would not be perfect. Socket & switch area patches by other guys disappointingly untidy.

  Thank you for your feedback. The original 4–5 day estimate was based on rooms being fully cleared, which unfortunately was not the case and caused delays. In addition, the kitchen ceiling had unforeseen issues that required extensive preparation and patching, which was discussed and agreed as the most economical solution. Requests to rush certain areas further impacted the schedule. Additional costs related only to extended labour time. Three rooms were completed to a good standard as acknowledged.
