Great experience with Gold Standard plastering. From getting the initial quote to board and skim our living room walls and ceiling, through to completion of the work, the whole process has been smooth from start to finish. Leona is very organised and keeps you fully up to date with the work schedule. Steve’s work is fantastic - very happy with the result and he really takes care to tidy up and minimise disruption. Will recommend to family and friends who need work doing the future & we wouldn’t go anywhere else when we are ready to tackle the next room in our house!

  Great experience

What a great experience! Not only did Steve do an outstanding job at an affordable price, I found him totally reliable, tidying up after himself and a very nice person. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I had a great experience with Gold standard plastering from start to finish. Steve did a very thorough survey of the job to start with, and the communication from him and Leona was excellent, from the initial quote through to completion. The job was to skim four rooms, including a tight narrow stair case, boarding over ceilings, and reboarding several stud walls. The finish is of a really high standard. I would recommend gold standard to anyone and would use them again for future work

Why choose any other plasterer ?

On time. Tidy. Professional, and a perfect job in a difficult environment. What else is there to say about Steven at Gold Standard. From start to finish we felt very comfortable giving him the job. Explained in detail about everything. Preparation for the job and the job itself was carried out very professionally and the finishing clean up, including unnecessary interference from a belligerent Traffic Warden, was awesome. Very very happy with the finish and would not hesitate to recommend. Thanks for everything Gold Standard.

  1. Repair to ceiling damaged by old water leaks 2. Repair to room damaged by stormwater from loft

Thorough inspection of 3 areas. Identified one area not needing a plasterer & advised what was needed. Gave choices and carefully costed them on estimate. Gave us clear explanations. Fitted work in to suit our needs. Came as & when arranged. Kept disruption to a minimum. Completed work to high standard. Cleared up when jobs done. Advised on when, what and how for decorating work to follow on. Throughout, both Stephen and Leona were pleasant & friendly as well as highly professional in approach. We are very happy to recommend their firm and are grateful to them for their work.
