  Trustworthy and does a quality job - would recommend

  Jake did a floor prep for us in an old house in readiness for an underfloor heating retro fit. He did a great job and has a good network of other tradesmen who all speak very highly of him. He is reliable, respectful and easy to deal with. Coms were good, he turned up when he said he would, plus quality and attention to detail was excellent.

  Honest and reliable

  Used Jake and the team for my single-storey house extension and were very impressed from start to finish. Communication was clear throughout, and the team turned up when they said they would. The work was completed to a high standard, and any small issues were dealt with quickly and professionally. They kept the site tidy and were respectful of our home while the build was ongoing. The project finished on time and within the agreed budget, which we really appreciated. We’re very pleased with the final result and wouldn’t hesitate

  Professional, Tidy & Cost Efficient

  We couldn’t be happier with the work done on our downstairs renovation. The job involved knocking through three walls and fitting two steels, and everything was handled with total professionalism from start to finish. Jake’s communication was clear throughout, the work was carried out exactly as promised, and the standard of workmanship was excellent.   Very highly recommend

  Gooch builders carried out extensive building works to our home in Heworth, York. From foundation works to finished product. They were professional, reliable, clean & tidy and left a outstanding job. Seamlessly matching new to old on our front extension that included a periodic arched porch way. Swiftly building our kitchen extension to the rear. Also building a retaining wall to our patio area with steps down to our garden. I cannot recommend Jake & his team highly enough. 10/10 ........   Very professional building firm

  I have used Gooch Builders on 2 separate jobs, building our extension and taking down our old garage. Jake and his team are professional and easy to work with. On both occasions they delivered the job on time with no problems whatsoever. I would highly recommend.

  Excellent service

  We had gooch builders come to build our rear kitchen extension and I am so happy with the job they did. Jake was so helpful every step of the way and guided me through the build from start to finish. Neat, tidy and punctual!
