  Boiler & Cylinder Service

  Bentley was recommended by friends locally and we are really happy with the service that he provided. We had work done on the house just before COVID and the builders massively over specified the boiler, there were wiring issues and they installed the cheapest filter to the system. Bentley helped tweak the boiler to limit the output in terms of temperature and power and fixed the most egregious wiring issues that were dangerous. I think we saved around 15-20% in terms of gas usage after the tweaks! We just had the boiler serviced again by Bentley, we've tweaked the power down a bit more.

  I've used Bentley for many years and his work is always good and fairly priced. I use nobody else for plumbing and heating jobs.

  Concern about smell in bathroom

  Bentley has done numerous plumbing jobs for us as well as servicing and repairing our gas boiler over several years - so we trusted his advice that nothing obvious was wrong when we had some concerns about bathroom plumbing odours we thought might be a leak. He checked everything over and looked for obvious signs internally and externally of a leak or blockage. His work has always been excellent. Pleased he recommended waiting as all seems ok now but he had a next stage plan should it have been necessary to do a hint more invasive.

  Having recently moved into a new home I was advised the boiler had been serviced but no paperwork to back this up so for peace of mind I wanted the boiler serviced and gas fire checked. I also asked for a kitchen tap to be changed to a lever handle tap as I have arthritis in my hands and struggled with what I had. Bentley came as arranged and assessed my home. The tap was changed and a lever handle was also added so if needed I could turn the stop cock off. The gas fire was checked and recommendations made which I decided to go ahead with.   Sink plumbing

  Bentley is excellent. We have used him for regular gas boiler checks, tap and shower repairs and replacements and other plumbing issues. This was a small job for him to do but he came in to help very quickly as we had a leak. Always efficient, very tidy and explains what has happened and discusses resolution. Great workman. Trustworthy and good value.
