  Ray was professional from the moment of contact. After a comprehensive evaluation and thorough quote process, Ray was rightly particular about clear, written expectations, eliminating the later possibility of extra work being added without due costings or other misunderstandings. I respect that. Ray’s communication was considered, thoughtful and timely, making sure we were informed during the whole process. Ray’s experience and attention to detail are clearly illustrated in the quality of finish. This is a man who takes pride in his work. Ray will be our first choice next time.

  Redecoration of box bedroom

  It was a pleasure to have Ray back decorating again! This time Ray redecorated our box bedroom which looks fantastic. Ray offered to remove a cupboard in the room and then made good all of the walls and ceiling surrounding it. Whilst this was drying out Ray kindly redecorated our porch and touched up some other paintwork around the house… brilliant! The box room suffers from damp Ray but took care to address the affected areas and even had a look at the guttering. Ray is highly approachable, knowledgeable, tidy and reliable. We highly recommend and will be in touch with future projects!

  Nursery redecorating - wallpaper stripping, patching up walls and repainting

  Ray was a pleasure to have redecorate our new home's nursery. He was good at time keeping, communicated well and very practical. He managed the navigate crumbling plaster after stripping off old wallpaper and did a fantastic job evening out the surface, sanding down and then repainting. He was very courteous to both my partner and I, and our cat, and I'd happily ask him to assist with future work.

  I initially needed the kitchen painted after having renovations, but the job expanded to the whole flat after discussed with Ray. He's knowledgeable, offers good advice, prompt and gets on with the job. Keys were left with him and he checks in often, giving updates. I can see why he's so busy! Excellent work, my tired flat looks brand new again!

  We used Gorman Decorators for the first time to paint the 3 bedrooms in our house and it won’t be the last time we use them. Ray arrived promptly every day, he listened to exactly what we wanted and he carried out the work to an extremely high standard. In fact he went above and beyond in helping us and we would have no hesitation in using Ray again for future work.
