A brilliant job!
After searching for a plasterer for some time and being very let down by one local trader on here, I found Dom at GPN Finishes. He’s been great from the start. Came to do a quote, priced the job, which I thought was very reasonable compared to the previous quote I’d had. I booked him in and he worked like a trooper all day to get the job finished. Plastering kitchen walls, boarding kitchen ceiling and plastering new boarding
Very professional when interacting with us, provided clearly itemised invoice with full breakdown of costs. Arrived promptly for consultation and measure up which gave peice of mind as measurements clearly reflected on invoice. Arrived promptly on time on days of work and was in contact with us advising of collection of materials on the morning of the first day. Plastering walls and ceilings. Filling in holes and making good after a door had been bricked up.
Dom worked quickly and tidily skimming the walls and ceilings of our hall and landing. He also tidied up and boxed in cables and filled any holes made when the plaster fell off during wallpaper stripping. He then rendered block work over a door that was bricked up along with his apprentice Sonny. Both work quickly and cleaned up really well after the job was finished. Wall repairs to a bedroom following some remodelling work.
The work was done to a bedroom which was being converted into a small office. We contacted Dom to do some plastering work as the final step in the remodelling. The work he did was first class and he couldn’t have have been any more helpful when we were asking questions about what was possible. He left the room clean and tidy once he was done which is a refreshing change. Overall, would we use him again? - absolutely!!!
