Reliable, flexible, excellent communication and value for money
We use Ian and his team on a regular basis to collect rubbish from house cleans that we carry out for WSCC. Due the delicate nature of our work, it can be a bit mucky at times, despite this Ian & his team always arrive with a smile on their faces, a cheery demeanor & willing to not only do the job but to always try to go above & beyond. We prefer to use Green City Recycling mainly because they recycle as much as they can to help keep cost down-which is very helpful to keep in budget. Ian always replies quickly to messages & has never let us down, even when I spring jobs on him last minute!

Collection of waste
Ian at green city couldn’t be more helpful, been using them for rubbish clearance on regular basis since 2019, gives you waste collection receipts giving you peace of mind that its being deposited of correctly. Always works out better on price that using skips. Collects on short notice so when I’m finished on a job, the waste has been cleared for the customer.

Rubbish collection from a roof clearance
Used green city recycling on many occasions where a skip can’t be used. Removed anything without any fuss, at a great price and always has a clean up after.

Removal of Hippo Bag and contents
Fantastic service, really quick response to initial inquiry and we are really pleased Ian was able to attend shortly after job was confirmed despite a busy time. Work was carried out within 1.5hrs and our garden was left spotless. Extremely satisfied with the professional demeanour and will most certainly use in future, many thanks!

A House Clearance for a 2nd floor retirement flat.
I cannot recommend Ian highly enough. He is efficient and got back to me quickly, his price was very reasonable and the best of 3 quotes I got. The team were punctual, they got everything out very quickly and are experts in maneuvering round corners etc. It was on the 2nd floor but they got everything out and down. They were very Covid safe as well. Ian explained how everything is recycled which is a big bonus for me as I didn't want any of it going straight to landfill.

Clearing a pile of garden rubbish and moving a heavy pizza oven
Highly recommended. Garden waste was taken away, left clean and tidy. A large awkward pizza oven was moved swiftly. It was cheaper than hiring a skip. I will definitely use them again.
