  Isn't it great when someone who starts off as a tradesman working for you winds up becoming a family friend! George and team were fantastic, we can't fault any of them, especially the chippie (Mark) and plasterer (Sean), for all of them nothing was too much trouble, plus the job was on budget! Being a Rugby player George's personal expertise is in groundwork and brickwork which to me are the most important part of big jobs like this. George also had an excellent rapport with the Building Inspector and our own, architect. Bottom line, would we use him again, of course!

  After contacting George he came out and inspected what needed to be done, he gave me a fair estimate. A few days later he came and completed the job within a few hours. Very approachable guy, worked methodically and left the site tidy. Wouldn’t hesitate to have him in the future.

  George was excellent to deal with from start to finish, turned up to look at the job when he said he would, priced competitively and carried out the work to a high standard with a positive, amenable attitude. Can’t be faulted! We’re getting him back for the next job. If you’re in need of a bricklayer, you’ve found him.

  George Savage was very professional and prompt in reply to my request via Checktrade; visiting the property; and giving me a firm quotation. He was excellent on timing and communication turning up exactly when he said he would. He is a hard and competent builder finishing the job on time despite appalling weather. I cannot comment on the technical details of brickwork (hence the 9 rating) but I would unreservedly recommend him. I am delighted that we chose him from Checktrade and would certainly ask him to do work for me again. Professor Gordon Murray
